Introduction

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina adhaban-nar.

“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
This is one of the most comprehensive duas in the Qur’an because it asks Allah for success in both worldly and eternal matters.
Dua for Forgiveness

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ رَبِّي مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Transliteration
Astaghfirullaha Rabbi min kulli dhanbin wa atubu ilayh.
Meaning
“I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for every sin, and I turn to Him in repentance.”
Seeking forgiveness cleanses the heart and brings Allah’s mercy. The Prophet ﷺ regularly sought forgiveness many times each day.
Dua for Knowledge

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Transliteration
Rabbi zidni ilma.
Meaning
“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”
Knowledge is highly valued in Islam. This short but powerful dua encourages Muslims to continuously seek beneficial knowledge.
Dua During Hardship

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Transliteration
Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel.
