- Lying: Telling lies is also a major sin. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. Lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Hellfire.” (Hadith)

Repentance means feeling sorry for our Wrongs and asking Allah for forgiveness. It is also essential. Allah loves those who repent. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than one of you who suddenly finds his camel after losing it in a desert.” (Hadith)
How to Repent for Major & Minor Sins
- Feel Sorry: We should feel sorry for our sins.
- Ask Forgiveness: We should ask Allah to forgive us. We can say, “Astaghfirullah,” which means “I seek forgiveness from Allah.”
- Make a Promise: We should promise not to be Wrong again.
- Do Good Deeds: Doing good deeds also helps erase our Wrongs.
