Khadijah (R.A.) was the first wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She was a wealthy and intelligent businesswoman. People called her “The Pure One” because she was perfect. She met Muhammad (PBUH) when he worked for her. She liked him because he was honest. Khadijah asked him to marry her. He said yes. They had six children. They also loved each other very much.
